About 50 km southeast of Örebro is Brevens Bruk, a well-preserved and beautiful mill site, probably the finest example of an old Swedish mill tradition – preserved in more or less its original condition.

Brevens offers everything from quiet and peaceful walks through the historic village to action-packed mountain bike trails in the forest.
Forest & Lake
Brevens Bruk has beautiful forest areas with hiking trails, as well as a number of swimming areas with shelters and barbecue areas.
Arts & Culture
Check out the ironworks museum and see the production from the old ironworks, or experience the roasting oven and model shed.
Winter
During winter, when snow conditions are good, the local sports clubs ensure that there are nice ski trails in the areas around Brevens Bruk.

In a rural and peaceful environment, you can try the local Brevens Hereford beef at Brevensgården or have a cup of coffee at Brevens Café & Butik.
Midsummer
The Midsummer celebration in Brevens Bruk has ancient roots, accompanied by beautiful wreaths, the Midsummer procession, party and music.
